Summary: The authors report a case of a misleading total erectile dysfunction, treated as a case of organic impotency that led to the implantation of a penile prosthesis. Subsequently, the resistance to the utilization of the prosthesis led to the ablation thereof, and the discussions of couples combined with intracavernous injections enabled sexual relationships to be resumed.
