SUMMARY :

The objective of this work is to present a surgical technique for the treatment of Peyronie disease with autograft of the tunica albuginea.
Materials and methods : Forty patients between the ages of 23 and 72 underwent this type of surgical procedure. They had been previously selected according to the following criteria :

- A penile curvature in excess of 30º ;
- Dilatation of the corpus cavernosum, above or below the fibrosis plaque.
Description of the technique : We retract an ellipse along the length of the tunica albuginea in the parts that area dilated alongside the corpus cavernous. We then make a transversal incision of the fibrotic plaque and insert the previously saved excised tissue from the tunica albuginea (Autograft).

Results : We consider the results to be excellent. In all cases it was possible to restore the angle of the penis in 90 % of the affected patients. The patients are able to perform normal sexual activities.

Conclusion : This surgical technique is important as a consequently the advantages are the followings :
- The technique restores the axis and the aesthetics of the penis without damaging its length, as can happen in the known (shortening) techniques ;
- We avoid the use of synthetic materials ;
- We avoid the removal of the plaque.
