
SUMMARY :
On the basis of a quantitative and qualitative analysis of 17 cases of premature
ejaculation (eiaculatio praecox) (PE) having consulted the Unit of psychosomatic
gynaecology and sexology during the last four years and treated with sexual
and body-therapy, we shall outline different aspects of the problem, such as
:
- the description and explanation of the sexual disorder by the patient himself,
- the physical experience of the patient during excitation, that he is aware
during the sexocorporal evaluation,
- the psychological experience of the disorder,
- the consequences of this sexual disorder on the couple's relationship,
- my observation of the patient's body (ability to be centred, muscle tone,
posture),
- other physiological and psychological elements, such as : sources of excitation,
codes of sexual attraction, sexual identity,
- the description and explanation of changes or even improvement of their ability
to manage sexual tension and to decide themselves when they want to have their
orgastic discharge.
